In the classic IFS model, Self is present in the background. But what happens when Self is so potent that it is the primary driver of the healing process? The model gives way and healing occurs–not just at the level of the part–but throughout the entire system and on multiple dimensions at once. 

This is what we call Evolutionary IFS.

EVOLUTIONARY IFS

During this workshop, you will learn the basics of Classic IFS:

  • The six organizing principles of IFS

  • The three-part ecology of managers, firefighters, and exiles

  • The two principal methods of working with parts: in-sight and direct access

You will also learn Evolutionary IFS:

  • Shifting levels of mind from ordinary mind into Self

  • Offering your awareness to your client so they can see and feel more of their internal system

  • Supporting a system’s natural capacity to self-organize at a higher level

  • Tracking energetic shifts to help the system heal itself

  • Resting in the medicine of the moment

And you will learn the fundamental principles of both Classic and Evolutionary IFS:

Guthrie Sayen, PhD, trains coaches worldwide in Internal Family Systems. He created and leads Parts Work, a yearlong training in Internal Family Systems for coaches. He co-created and co-led Coaching for Self-Leadership, which was offered through the IFS Institute and had more than one thousand participants. He is also the creator of Coaching with Spirit, an accredited coaching training program, and Coaching with IFS.

He has created and led trainings for other institutions, including chapters of the International Coaching Federation, the True Purpose Institute, and the ManKind Project. Guthrie mentors coaches at all levels of their careers from beginners to masters. In his private practice, he works with wounded healers, helping them do for themselves what they are called to do for others.

Paige Britt, MA, is a spiritual healer, teacher, and guide. She works with people who are waking up, teaching them how to shift out of their ordinary individual mind and into the Field of shared consciousness. The result is a profound experience of expansion and love.

She started using IFS in her healing practice ten years ago and quickly began to explore what happens when instead of focusing on individual parts, you teach people how to access and amplify the energy of the Field. The result is an evolutionary form of IFS, where parts reconfigure on their own, organizing around love and wholeness instead of wounds.

It's an extraordinary process to experience and one she is excited to offer now with Guthrie!
